Compared with the Asian, the expense of European and American customers were hit harder by the downturn. Therefore, the world top fashion houses have been out to woo fashionable Asians. They gradually expanse their overseas markets and open stores in the stylish cities in Asian. Newly appointed CEO Berndt Hauptkorn once said, “Bally, like other retailers, will only increase their stake in Asian markets and the Asian market is very important for us.” Thus recently Bally has opened the largest store of Asian in Singapore, home to the worlds’ highest density of millionaires, as well as in Hongkong, one of the most prosperous city.
To celebrate the open of a series of stores in Asian as well as the coming the year of Tiger, Bally has come up with a limited edition bag collection named Bally Busy-B Tiger Bag. This series includes three sizes, small, medium and large. The whole surface is stamped with the Bally’s signature Busy-B Monogram and a vivid and lively tiger is set on the center of the bag, which features hand-painted serigraph print in red. And the edge of the handles and shoulder straps are also harmoniously ornamented with the red paint.
This Bally Busy-B Tiger Collection firstly released in Singapore and Hongkong, 50 pieces available in Singapore and 100 pieces in Hongkong. It is estimated that in spring of 2010, the limited edition Bally Handbags would be on the market of Beijing and Shanghai. They are priced at $1,050, $1,295 and $1,695 respectively.
